The advantages of the Villa Claudia
It is with the greatest of pleasure that we welcome you to our hotel. As you have seen, it is our home and we want to share it, welcome visitors and recommend it. There are a large number of factors which influence your choice of where to stay so let me show you what we can offer at Villa Claudia, what the benefits are.
Ideally
Located
The hotel really is in the heart of the city. We are only 4 minutes walk from Cannes station. Once you are at the hotel, you can reach all of Cannes on foot, starting with la Croisette, barely 6 minutes walk and the Palais des Festivals, about 9 minutes walk. We are near the major pedestrianised precincts of Cannes, the residential areas, restaurants and the markets.
A renovated hotel
I bought the hotel in September 2015. I started by closing it for 6 months to completely refurbish it. All of the public areas and all the rooms were renovated and refitted. All the furnishings were changed, the beds and mattresses are new and of high quality. Modern comfort in a historic building.
Pleasant
Environment
The building is typical of 19th century French Mediterranean architecture. It was built in 1872 and is full of history and character. It is set in a lush green garden of over 800 square metres. Most of our visitors say it’s like entering another world when they enter the garden. They leave the city and find themselves in the world of the cosy, private villas of Cannes.
The breakfast
Finally, and there can’t be many who offer this in Cannes, it is our pleasure to serve breakfast in the garden in summer on the terrace in front of the hotel. A buffet breakfast outside in the sun in our peaceful and pleasant garden.

human warmth
I own and run the hotel. I live and work there so it’s rather like opening up part of my own house. But I am also an ambassador for my part of the world and I will always have a recommendation, a suggestion of where to go or some advice for you, my guests. I won’t intrude, this is a hotel not a bedsit and you are completely free but I'm there if you need me!
